It's almost like being there!
Wow ... is this cool or what? WORX in Madison has teamed up with a local TV station to show live audio AND video of the race! The link is on the WORX website. Hit the F11 key, and your entire screen is filled with the live video. I love it!
Heat 1A just completed ... Steve David in the U-6 O BOY! OBERTO crawled around the course to secure the inside lane and made a beautiful run at the start, just trailing Jeff Bernard in the U-5 FORMULABOATS.COM who was on the outside. Dave Villwock was third at the start with U-16 MISS ELAM PLUS while Mike Allen trailed in the U-1 FORMULABOATS.COM. OBERTO powered through the first turn and never looked back. Bernard kept close with the U-5, while ELAM, on the far outside, moved into third with Allen and the U-1 in fourth. David set a torrid pace with the home crowd going nuts on the shoreline, and that's how the heat finished: U-6, U-5, U-16, U-1. Apparently Villwock was upset about something when he came back in. Well, boo hoo.
I'll update from time to time today, but probably not after every heat. Check out the video, it's terrific!
